In an advisory issued at 11 am on Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the enhanced southwest monsoon is still affecting the following areas:
Thursday, September 5
- Heavy to intense rain (100-200 millimeters): Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan

PAGASA warned that floods and landslides remain likely.
In Quezon City, the La Mesa Dam again breached its spilling level early Thursday afternoon. The weather bureau advised residents of low-lying areas near the Tullahan River to be on alert.
Outside PAR, Enteng was last spotted 480 kilometers west northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, moving west at 25 kilometers per hour (km/h) early Thursday.
The typhoon further intensified, with its maximum sustained winds already at 175 km/h. Its gustiness is up to 215 km/h.
